Stamp Packaging Snafu!

Hello Yumi & Fumi family and friends!
We just discovered a little problem with the packaging of some of our stamps...it seems that the plastic film that we were using to affix the stamps actually has a smooth side and a rough side.  Because we did not package the stamps that we use personally, we did not notice the issue until now.  If the stamp is attached to the rough side of the film, the indexed side of the stamp will eventually adhere to the film.  So, when you try to remove the film it takes some of the index print.
We are SO bummed to have just discovered this now and we wanted everyone to know right away that this is absolutely not going to be the norm for Yumi & Fumi Handmade stamps.  We are currently going through all of our inventory and removing the film (very carefully) and we will determine a more “friendly” way to package our stamps for the future.  If you have purchased a Y&FH stamp and you have not yet removed it from the film, please do so as soon as you can and do so slowly and begin from each of the edges.  Then throw away that darn film!
Thankfully and with a huge sigh of relief the end product…the image…is not damaged in any way and you can still stamp away with no worries.  Yumi & Fumi Handmade strives to provide you with a quality product that is fun and easy to use.  We consider ourselves in the business of smiles J and want to keep you all smiling from ear to ear.  Please feel free to email us at yumi.fumi@yumifumihandmade.com with any questions or concerns.

Aloha always,
Yumi & Fumi Handmade Team
